About Life

Life is not what it seems to be.
Whether it has any purpose,
is yet to be seen.
But now that you are here,
let me tell you:

It does have joy,
and beauty, and love,
and wonder and awe –
if you allow yourself to see it.

But it also has pain,
and misery, and terror,
fear and hate –
whether you want to see it or not.

Life doesn’t judge –
It doesn’t even care.
It simply gives you all
that it has in stock for you.
And from there you can pick
whatever you like.

This is life!
